Caring together
Safety & family policies
Clear communication between families and teachers helps make arrival, pickup, and each day of care feel more comfortable.
Arrival and pickup
The center's published guidelines ask parents to accompany children into and out of the building and meet them at their room for pickup. Children must not be left unattended in a vehicle.
Canonsburg and SouthPointe use electronic check-in. Ask your center about its current arrival and pickup procedures and who is authorized to pick up your child.
Questions are welcome
The Imperial location describes an open-door policy for parent observation. Contact your center to learn about its current family communication, emergency procedures, and policies for visiting.
The published guidelines also explain that staff are mandated reporters of suspected child abuse or neglect.
Emergency procedures
Ask the director for the center’s current emergency, evacuation and family reunification procedures. A center-approved summary of these procedures is still to be supplied for this page.
Non-discrimination and accommodation
Please contact the center with enrollment or accommodation questions. The center’s formal non-discrimination statement and accommodation policy are still to be supplied for this page.
Licensing and quality information
Pennsylvania families can review child care certification and inspection information through the state's provider search. Ask each center for its current certificate and, if applicable, its Keystone STARS rating.
